Opac at the 2019 Metstrade

At Metstrade 2019, the world’s largest trade exhibition of marine equipment, materials and systems, Opac presented four new proposals.

Opac was attending the event, which was held from 19 to 21 November, inside the SuperYacht Pavilion, with its own stand.

Four new products were presented in the Dutch capital, all intended for the market of large yachts: a dual motion laminar topglazed slats, a manual soft-top, and a sun screening kit.

All the proposals aroused great interest among visitors and served to create new contacts with companies and shipyards.

With the 32nd edition of the Metstrade show, there were 26,984 visits registered (26,052 in 2018) by 17,792 visitors (16,716 last year), who represented 115 nationalities.

On the exhibitors’ side, 1,670 exhibitors from 53 countries were represented by 7,297 stand personnel and there were 228 members of the press also in attendance.

“There’s always room for improvement which makes the show so rewarding to organise each year - Irene Dros, maritime director of the METSTRADE Show, says -. At this year’s show we delivered on our operational excellence pledge in a number of ways. And throughout the week, it has been an honour to see people working with so much passion and dedication, committed to their innovative products and services.”
